India is once again all set to make history after ISRO launched
Chandrayaan 3 to the Moon's South Pole. The Indian Space Research Organization is gearing up for Chandrayaan 3 landing on Wednesday, August 23. Ahead of the same, many Indian celebrities and actors extended their best wishes to ISRO and expressed their excitement.
It is indeed a proud moment for India to become the first country to land a spacecraft on the moon's south pole. There was fierce tension between ISRO's rover named Pragyan and Russia's satellite until the latter unfortunately crashed in the same region. This could be a historic moment for India as it rapidly moves closer to the milestones set by global space power.

1. Amitabh Bachchan
On his latest television show, Kaun banega Crorepati 15,
Big B expressed his enthusiasm for Chandrayaan 3 landing. He gave a sweet comparison of ISRO's mission to our popular childhood stories of Chanda Mama.
In the episode, the Piku actor said,
"Kal shaam ko jab chand niklega na, toh uss chand ki mitti par humare desh ke kadmon ki chaap hogi. Kal humara Chandrayaan-3, apne Maama ke ghar, yaani ke Chanda Maama ke ghar pahuchega. Kal humare bachpan ke kahaniyon ka chand, premika ke chehre ka chand, vrat aur tyoharon ka chaand, apne desh ki pahuch mein hoga." In the evening tomorrow, when the moon rises, our country's footprints will be imprinted on the soil of the moon. (Tomorrow, the moon of the stories of our childhood will be within reach of our country.)

The actor who starred as Nambi Narayan in Rocketry took to Twitter (now X) and expressed how proud he was. He also congratulated the former ISRO scientist.
Madhavan wrote, "Chandrayaan-3 WILL BE ABSOLUTE SUCCESS MARK MY WORDS. Congratulations, @isro, in advance on this spectacular success. I am so happy and proud. Congratulations to @NambiNOfficial too. The Vikas engine delivers yet again during the launch."
3. Jr. NTR
RRR star Jr. NTR also tweeted on the same and shared a picture of a satellite carrying an Indian flag on the moon's surface. He wrote, 'Chandrayaan is set to land on the moon today at 6:04 p.m."
4. Risbah Shetty
The Kantara actor-director also tweeted about Chandrayaan 3 landing. He wrote, 'Tomorrow marks yet another milestone for India, and I am thrilled to be part of witnessing this historic day. 5. Kareena Kapoor Khan
During an event held in the national capital, Kareena Kapoor spoke about Chandrayaan 3 landing and expressed her excitement. She said she would watch it with her boys, Taimur and Jehangir.
'It's a great and proud moment for India and all the Indians. You feel that pride in your heart. As Indians, all of us are waiting to watch it right now. A lot of people are going to be glued to it. I am going to be doing that with my boys as well, with bated breath,' said the Jab We Met actress.

The Indian Space Research Organization launched Chandryaan 3 on July 14 with India's heavy-lift rocket LVM3. After completing the Earth's orbital circulation, the rover headed towards the Moon on August 1.
As per ISRO, Chandrayaan 3 will begin its landing on the moon's south pole at 5:45 PM today. It will see a touchdown at 6:05 p.m. If Chandrayaan 3 lands successfully, India will become the first nation in the history of space to softly land a spacecraft on the lunar south pole.
