Ashwin Nag's Project K welcomed one of the massive superstars of Indian cinema, Kamal Haasan, on board. Along with a strong cast of actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, and Disha Patani, the makers of Project K welcomed the Vikram actor in style.

In recent times, the budget allocated to a movie has touched the sky. With the liberty given by the producers, making a multi-crore movie becomes easier. Ashwin Nag is leaving no stone unturned to create magnanimous storytelling and an engaging cinematic experience for moviegoers.

The South Blockbuster will see an array of superstars from different cinemas coming together to tell a compelling story. Project K stars actors like Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Disha Patani in pivotal roles.

On Tuesday, the makers of the movie announced in style that the Vikram actor is now officially a part of the upcoming action drama. This has not only excited the fans but also got them curious about the fees every actor is charging.

Today, moviegoers are showing keen interest in knowing the process of filmmaking and what kind of money goes behind making a larger-than-life movie like Project K. With the film's cast consisting of popular faces, this increases curiosity even more. There have been rumors floating about fees charged by each actor, and the movie's budget will shock you.

Project K Budget

Ashwin Nag's brainchild brings together the biggest stars of Indian cinema. Reportedly, a whopping amount of Rs. 600 crore has been set as the budget for Project K. Out of which, the production cost is said to be around 400 crores, and the rest of the 200 crores are being utilized as actor's fees.

If reports are to be believed, Amitabh Bachchan has charged around 18 crores for Project K, while Kamal Haasan Haasan was paid 20 crores. Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani have walked away with 20 crore and 2 crore, respectively.

However, none of these remunerations come close to what Adipurush actor Prabhas has charged. The leading actor has allegedly been paid around 150 crore. This is not the first time the South's superstar has charged such monstrous fees.

Prabhas had charged 100 crores for Adipurush and Radhe Shyam, while he was paid around 70 crores for Saaho. After delivering back-to-back flops, fans are hoping the upcoming action drama will be the actor's redemption project.
