However, in an unexpected turn of events, Javed took to social media on Wednesday to reveal that her much-anticipated Cannes journey had been cut short due to a visa rejection.
“I haven’t been uploading anything or been seen anywhere cause I was going through a phase. My business didn’t work, I tried a bunch of other different things only to face rejections,” Javed wrote, offering a rare glimpse into the vulnerabilities behind her bold persona. She further explained the Cannes situation, stating, “Got an opportunity to go to Cannes through Inde Wild,” and expressed her and her team`s disappointment: “But as fate would have it, my visa got rejected. Was working on a few crazy outfit ideas; my team and I were very disheartened.”
Beyond her personal disappointment, Uorfi used her platform to send a powerful message about resilience. She encouraged her followers to share their own experiences with setbacks and emphasised the importance of acknowledging the emotions that come with them. Stressing normalising crying after rejections, Uorfi Javed wrote, “After rejections, feeling dejected and crying over it is normal, infact healthy."
Javed’s candidness resonated with many, including fellow celebrities. Himanshi Khurana offered words of encouragement, writing, “Every end is new beginning my love,” while Sambhavana Seth also extended her support. Uorfi herself remains undeterred, viewing this obstacle as a stepping stone. “Every rejection is an opportunity if you look carefully. After so many rejections in life.
