Bhojpuri actor Brijesh Tripathi dies of heart attack at 72
2023 has been a rollercoaster ride, especially when it comes to the deaths of prominent Indian actors. An unfortunate news story makes it to the headlines as Bhojpuri actor Brijesh Tripathi passes away at 72. According to sources, he was suffering from dengue two weeks ago and was undergoing treatment for the same in Meerut.
He returned to Mumbai recently. Last night, Brijesh Tripathi suffered a heart attack and was immediately rushed to the hospital. However, by the time he was taken inside, the doctors had declared him dead.

He is best known for some superhit Bhojpuri movies like Hamar Bodyguard Shiva, Driver Raja, Piya Chandani, Ram Krishna Bajrangi, and Janta Darbar, among others.
Speaking of his Bollywood career, Tripathi has shared screen space with some legendary actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Rajinikanth, Salman Khan, Dharmendra, Ravi Kishan, Vinod Khanna, and more.
He has done over 250 films in Bollywood, including No Entry, Mohra, and Gupt: The Hidden Truth, among others. After venturing into the acting field with the help of a friend, Brijesh moved to Mumbai to pursue a potential career in movies.
Taking it to social media, the actor-politician expressed his grief and said, "We had done about 100 films with Brijesh Tripathi ji; his departure is the departure of an era from the Bhojpuri film industry. May God adorn his virtuous soul with the highest honor from heaven."
