Arijit Singh Chennai Concert Cancelled
In a sombre turn of events echoing the nation`s grief, celebrated singer Arijit Singh has cancelled his much-anticipated concert in Chennai. Originally scheduled for this Sunday, April 27, 2025, the decision comes as a mark of respect following the horrific terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. This move underscores a moment of solidarity with the victims and their families during an incredibly difficult time.
The sentiment of solidarity extends beyond Arijit Singh. Composer Anirudh Ravichander also announced a halt in ticket sales for his upcoming Bengaluru concert. Sales for his Hukum Tour, planned for June 1, were paused due to the "current national situation", with a new date for ticket release promised soon.
Many other prominent figures from the entertainment world, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Allu Arjun, have expressed their shock and condemnation of the attack, sharing condolences for the victims.

A statement released by the organisers confirmed the cancellation: “IMPORTANT UPDATE. In light of the recent and tragic events, the organisers, along with the artist, have collectively made the decision to cancel the upcoming show scheduled to happen in Chennai this Sunday, April 27th. All ticket holders will receive full refunds, and the amount will be automatically refunded back to your original mode of payment (sic)." The Tragic Incident in Pahalgam
On April 22, 2025, tragedy struck the serene Baisaran Valley near Pahalgam in South Kashmir.
