The internet has been taken by storm since Animal's trailer was unveiled. Starriing Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, the trailer for the upcoming action drama has already hinted that the movie will be a Bollywood blockbuster.

While everyone is aware of Ranbir Kapoor's craft of nuancing every scene and getting into the skin of the character, he managed to leave director Sandeep Reddy Vanga in awe.

Animal revolves around a father-son's complicated relationship filled with bloodshed, violence, and an obsession to go to any heights. Sandeep Reddy Vanga, best known for Kabir Singh, said it was a delight watching Ranbir Kapoor transform himself and unleash his inner animal in the role of Arjun Singh.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga calls Ranbir Kapoor a mix of three superstars

"Ranbir is a great actor he is in a different league altogether. He is very original. I feel he is a mix of so many actors it is wrong to compare him to other actors. But I feel he is a mix of Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Kamal Haasan. This man (Ranbir) has no limitations," Vanga said in an interview with PTI.

He further added, 'He doesn't get angry like his character (in the film). He is a very calm person. I remember when I used to write rageful scenes, I would ask him so many times, Ranbir, When do you get angry?' He would say, 'I don't get angry, and Sandeep, this is the 7th or 9th time you are asking me this'.'

The filmmaker saw the actor's craft for the first time in Rockstar, where Ranbir Kapoor played the role of a struggling musician who goes on to become violent and heartbroken.

"I saw two shows of 'Rockstar' on the same day. I loved him, and I told him about this. I never thought I would get to work with him. As a concept film, this is my second film. I'm glad I got to work with him this early. He had called me, saying, We should work together." This is after 'Kabir Singh'," Vanga revealed.
