Amitabh Bachchan Quits KBC As Host, Fans Want THIS Actor To Replace Big B

Guess who will replace Amitabh Bachchan as KBC host?
Kaun Banega Crorepati was probably India`s first TV quiz show. Ever since its inception in 2000, Amitabh Bachchan has hosted it, except the third season, which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan. However, Big B has now decided to step down as the show`s host.
The 81-year-old legendary star cited personal reasons for quitting the show after over two decades of hosting it. This has created a fury all over social media, and fans are rather shocked.
Now, can you guess who will fill the hot seat and replace Amitabh Bachchan as the KBC host? Not Shah Rukh Khan or Aamir Khan; in fact, fans want Salman Khan to host the show.

According to Bollywood Hungama, the Sikandar star is already in talks with the makers of the show. If everything goes well, Salman will take over hosting duties from Big B from the 17th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati.
A source close to the development revealed, “Salman Khan is the king of the small screen, and the best face to replace Amitabh Bachchan is him, as he also has a strong connection with the audience in the smaller centres. Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan had also hosted KBC, and if everything goes well, Salman will be the newest to take the television sets by storm."
"Get ready to tune into Sony, as Salman Khan might host the biggest and most popular quiz show in India, as Amitabh Bachchan will be stepping back from KBC due to personal reasons," the source further added.
While the reason for Amitabh Bachchan quitting KBC is not clear yet, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor seems to be rather excited to host the show. This wouldn`t be his first stint of hosting a television show.
Salman Khan, for years, has hosted the infamous reality show, Bigg Boss. What started with a television reality competition was also taken over to OTT. What remained constant was the show`s format and the host, except for one season where Anil Kapoor took over the reins.
Fans are rather excited to see Salman taking over the hot seat and bringing in a fresh touch to the quiz show. Interestingly, the producers of KBC have previously worked with Salman as a host for the television show DUS KA DUM.
