Amitabh Bachchan's popular TV Quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati(KBC) is back again this year with the 15th edition. The first episode of this season premiered on August 14 on the eve of Independence Day. In the 40th episode, something interesting came out about Bachchan's fascination with fish as a contestant Kiran Patil was sitting beside him on the hotseat.

The KBC 15 episode 40, which aired on October 9, started with a rollover contestant from previous episode. After he left, it was time for the fastest finger first round again where Kiran Patil won. He works as a branch post master in the state of Maharashtra. His job involves explaining to others what all services are provided by the post office.

After answering some initial questions, there came a question involving fish. After answering the question, Kiran shared his hobby of collecting fish and that he has over 8 fish pots at his home. Amitabh was overjoyed knowing this and asked him if he can gift him one of the fish tanks. Kiran readily agreed.

The Zanjeer actor then went to state out his thoughts on fish. He had been told that fish are lucky and it is good to have them at home. He also expresses how he was looking to get some fish for his home since long. He thanked Kiran for coming on the show. Further, Amitabh asked him more details about the fish tank as to how much area it would occupy in the house.

"Ghar pe bahut khush honge log" he said in the end. The episode ends with Kiran answering the question for Rs. 40,000 and he being the rollover contestant for the next episode.

KBC is the official adaptation of Who Wants To Be a Millionaire? franchise and it began it began with Amitabh Bachchan as the presenter in the year 2000. ever since then, it has become popular among the masses and had succesful viewings in all its 15 seasons.
