The internet is shaking and quaking after rumours of Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij`s divorce spread like wildfire. Once television`s sweethearts, the couple are now filing for a divorce after 14 years of togetherness.
Amid the reports of their divorce being finalised, Mahhi Vij shared a rather cryptic post, raising everyone`s eyebrows. Taking it to social media, she wrote, “May we always have the money to buy the things that we screenshot."
This has added fuel to the fire and reignited discussions about the couple`s alleged separation, which has been in headlines for months.
What went wrong?
As per reports, Mahhi and Jay filed for a divorce a few months ago after being together for over a decade. The legal proceedings started between July and August 2025 with claims of divorce papers being "signed and finalised".
The custody of their three children – Tara, Rajveer, and Khushi – has been mutually decided.

A source close to the development said, “Much was tried, but nothing changed," adding, “Separation happened a long time ago. They filed for divorce a couple of months back. The papers have been signed and finalised in July-August, and the custody of the kids has also been decided upon."
Trouble in their love life began due to Vij`s “trust issues" with Bhanushali. The couple known to post joint vlogs on social media suddenly stopped sharing pictures and videos on each other`s feeds. Their last collaborative post was in June 2024.
The couple`s last public appearance was during their daughter, Tara`s, birthday celebration in August. According to a report by the Hindustan Times, Mahhi Vij has moved into a new home with her children.
Mahhi Vij`s reaction to divorce news
Back in July, the actress slammed the speculation about troubles in her marriage and said, “Even if it is the case, why should I tell you? Are you my uncle? Will you pay my lawyer’s fee?"
She added that people are too quick to take sides without knowing the whole truth. “They just want to blame someone. Do you even know the truth? What do you know?"
Mahhi also spoke about how the society perceives single mothers, sharing, “Here, people look at single mothers and divorces very differently. They assume there’s going to be drama now that it’ll turn into a big issue. Just live and let live."
