Jay Bhanushali- Mahhi Vij to file for divorce
Celebrity couple Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij, who were once television`s sweethearts, are reportedly calling it quits after being married for 14 years. After months of speculation, sources confirm the two have finalised the divorce.
The couple who tied the knot in 2010 have finalised the divorce, with legal proceedings being completed over the recent summer. A source close to the development confirmed the news and said this was long overdue. "Much was tried, but nothing changed," the source quoted.
The custody and arrangements to co-parent their children – Tara, Rajveer and Khushi – have also been mutually decided.

The decision to get separated was visible publicly even before the two could make things official. Once active collaborators on Instagram, both Jay and Mahhi have stopped posting about each other on social media.

Despite the decision to end their marriage, the two have decided to remain cordial. Just last week, the actress commented on Jay`s post with their daughter, engaging in a light-hearted exchange about their parenting style.
Jay and Mahhi tried working things out for the sake of their children. However, despite all the effort, an amicable divorce is what they`re looking for, with shared custody.
It is believed that Mahhi was Jay`s first girlfriend, whom he proposed to on December 31, 2009. The couple even participated in the dance reality show, Nach Baliye, in 2012 and won the fifth season.
Earlier this year, the actress reacted to a post about her divorce rumours and responded, “Why should I tell you? Are you my uncle?” Amid all the speculation, the couple was last seen together at their daughter, Tara`s, birthday party.
