Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has made it onto Time Magazine's list of the 100 Most Influential People. Director, producer, and writer Tom Harper talks about the 'Raazi' actress in the Time profile, even calling her 'formidable talent'. Tom Harper and Alia Bhatt previously worked together on her Hollywood debut film, Heart of Stone.

The director of The Heart of Stone shared some interesting insights into his experience working with Alia Bhatt. He said, 'I met Alia on Heart of Stone, her English-language film debut. Despite her fame, on set, she is self-effacing and funny. There is a grace to the way she goes about her work: focused, open to ideas, and willing to take creative risks. One of my favourite moments in the film came from an improvisation at the end of a take where she took the emotional thread and ran with it.'

When talking about Alia's talent as an artist, Tom said that she's 'not only one of the world's leading actors, admired for her work in the Indian film industry for over a decade, she is also a businesswoman and a philanthropist who leads with integrity.'

Alia Bhatt on the work front

Alia made her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone in 2023. The film starred Hollywood superstars like Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. Last year, the actress also won the award for Best Actress for her 2023 film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.

Alia Bhatt was last seen in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, starring alongside Ranveer Singh. Next up for her is Jigra, a film directed by Vasan Bala, which Alia is co-producing with Karan Johar. Jigra is a sports drama based on basketball. The actress is also set to star in two more films, Jee Le Zara and Love and War, directed by Farhan Akhtar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, respectively.
