Ghajini 2 Update: Aamir Khan And Suriya to Shoot The Sequel Simultaneously
With some interesting sequels coming out this year, we have yet another news that will make you nostalgic and excited at the same time. Aamir Khan, who was in talks for the sequel of Ghajini, will be shooting for the same alongside South superstar Suriya for the Tamil sequel.
The Dangal actor has been in talks with producers Allu Aravind and Madhu Mantena as they discussed making the sequel for the 2008 cult blockbuster. The producers pitched the idea to the actor, and he asked them to come back with a storyboard.
Now, Allu Aravind is also planning to make the Ghajini 2 in its original language, Tamil, with Suriya in the lead. The actor confirmed the development and shared some interesting details.
While the Bollywood film was headlined by Aamir Khan, the original Tamil version starred Suriya. What remained common in both movies was the lead actress, Asin.
When asked the Kanguva actor about further developments, he said, “Ghajini 2 was actually surprising that you asked me now. After a long time, Allu Aravind came up with that idea (for a sequel) and said if that would be possible. I said definitely, sir; we can think of it. Yes, the talk has started; the things are in process. Ghajini 2 might happen.”

As per Pinkvilla reports, Allu Aravind and Madhu Mantena are planning to simultaneously shoot Ghajini 2 both in Tamil and Hindi.
“With things going Pan India, remakes of cult films with popular stars are a thing of the past now. Both Suriya and Aamir Khan are excited by the idea of Ghajini 2, but don’t want the remake tag on their film," said the source.

The source further added, "They are also concerned that the film arriving first will take away the novelty factor and convey their concerns to the producers. On hearing out both the actors, Allu Aravind and Madhu Mantena came up with a solution of shooting for the two Ghajini films at the same time frame and bringing them to the big screen on the same day.”
