While Sushant Singh Rajput mysteriously passed away in 2020, his death case is still being discussed in the media and the courts. While the High Court has not given any decision on celebrities allegedly involved in the matter, the CBI probe continues to dig deeper. Amidst all these controversies, Aaditya Thackeray moved the HC and asserted a CBI probe into his alleged connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

This comes along with the late actor's manager, Disha Salian's, mysterious suicide days before he was found dead in his Mumbai apartment. Aaditya Thackeray has now filed an application that states the public interest litigation (PIL) was not maintainable as the probe in the matter was already under state legislation.

A PIL filed in September by the 'Supreme Court amp High Court Litigants Association of India' through its president, Rashid Khan Pathan, demanded an immediate arrest of Thackeray in connection with the'mysterious' deaths of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and his manager, Disha Salian.

However, the PIL has not been taken up by the High Court. The former Maharashtra CM's lawyer, Rahul Arote, issued a statement saying Aaditya should be heard before any decision has been made.

'We have filed an intervention application, saying we should be heard before any order is passed. We have said the PIL is not maintainable as the investigation into the Sushant Singh Rajput matter is already under way by the CBI,' said Arote.

'How can any order be passed in a PIL when state machinery is already seized of the probe?' he further added. The PIL demanded the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) investigate Thackarey, and a comprehensive probe report has to be submitted.

The Kedarnath actor was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020. While many claimed it to be a suicide, others suspected it to be a planned murder. Several celebrities, like Rhea Kapoor, Aaditya Thakceray, Salman Khan, and many more, were said to be allegedly involved in the same.

Days before his death, Sushant's manager, Disha Salian, mysteriously committed suicide by jumping off her building's terrace. Again, this had netizens divided. While some claimed she was depressed, others said it was yet another planned murder.
