Arjun Kapoor on his relationship with Malaika Arora

In the chat show, Karan Johar asked Arjun about his relationship with Malaika Arora and the reason why he took so long to make their relationship official. Following this, Arjun said, "I think I've lived a life being on the other side of the spectrum. I grew up in a disjointed family, and it was not easy to see what was going on, and still had to accept everything. I can't just jump on her (Malaika). The first reaction could be 'What do you mean?' If you ease people in, they'll understand."

Furthermore, the half-girlfriend actor said, 'I will always think about everyone first. It is my choice to be with her, but I cannot expect everyone to understand. It has to be allowed to grow. I cannot expect everyone to understand easily. Darja dena padta hai, and I had to ease everyone into it including the public eye. It's not that we didn't talk about it as a couple. But there are baby steps. There is a basic understanding that she has had a life, she has a son, and I'm coming from a past that is aware of that. The moral compass of the country you cannot dictate."

Sonam and Arjun discuss each other ex's

Koffee With Karan is famous for its image of match-making and for revealing Bollywood celebrities dating lives. Here is what Sonam and Arjun revealed about their love life. Sonam revealed that Arjun has not liked any of her boyfriends before Anand. She also said that he (Arjun) has also slept with her friends before. Whereas, Arjun revealed that he has been in many difficult relationships before. However, he chose not to disclose anyone's name.

From taking him along on her date to complaining to him about bullies in school

Sonam Kapoor revealed that she tagged Arjun along when she had to go on a date at the age of 12. She revealed that they went to Mcdonald's and Arjun, like a good big brother, sat at a nearby table.

In a hilarious conversation, she also revealed a childhood tale from their school when she was getting bullied by a guy. When she informed Arjun about this he went to that guy and returned with a black patch under his eye.

In this context, Arjun said, "I went up to him, telling him how can you talk to my sister like that. I imagined it would be like Shah Rukh Khan in 'Josh' where two gangs fight but I just got shocked in the eye! I had a black eye and I got suspended because I abused him."
