National Cinema Day Postponed Due to Brahmastra? Tickets For Rs.75 Unavailable On September 16

To celebrate and promote more movie-watching experiences, every theatre in most of India were offering tickets at a reasonalble price to celebrate National Cinema Day. Falling on September 16, the major movie theatres were offering movie tickets only for Rs.75. However, Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra stepped in and changed everything.

Apparently, due to Brahmastra's massive success, the Multiplex Association of India has postponed the 'movie tickets for Rs.75' activity to September 23. The reason to postpone is to encourage every party associated with the chain of box office to participate. The decision-makers decided to postpone the same to next week. Since Brahmastra resulted to an increase in footfalls in the theatres, the union has decided to maximise their share.


It is said that four thousand screens across the cinema business such as PVR, INOX, Cineacutepolis, Carnival, Miraj, Citypride, Asian, Mukta A2, Movietime, Wave, M2K, Delite, and more will come together to celebrate the National Cinema Day offer. On September 23, audience can choose from two excellent movies - Brahmastra and Avatar. The re-release of Hollywood fiction will give a hint on how the sequel will perform at the box office in December.
