Janhvi Kapoor talks about being a mentor to Khushi Kapoor

After Khushi's debut in Archies, Janhvi Kapoor shared how she prepared her sister for the industry's challenges by not letting it affect her.

She shared, 'She [Khushi] did such a wonderful job at being honest. When I was talking to her, I told her to be prepared for hate but not to forget herself in the process. I wish someone said this to me. I wish someone told me to try looking at the people that value you, like you, because believing the bad is always easier.'

Janhvi Kapoor also mentioned that she and her sister support each other, especially since they lost their mother a few years ago. As a result, they rely on each other for emotional support.

The 'Devara' actress said one time, 'I advise her [Khushi] every day. She is tired of listening to me. I also feel she is more sensible than me. When I debuted, the pressure was a lot more, and a lot was going on the personal front. I was like a headless chicken.'

In another interview, Khushi talked about how she and Janvhi grew up on movie sets, and returning to one feels like a blessing.

She recounted, 'When my sister Janhvi and I were not on set, we would be at home enacting scenes and watching films. I have this specific memory of putting on Om Shanti Om at home, and I would do the wave that Shah Rukh Khan and others would do, making my cousin tie my dupatta on her bracelet to repeat the whole thing.'
