Shakuntalam actress Samantha recently repurposed the dress she wore at her wedding with Naga Chaitanya.

The actress turned her white wedding gown to a gorgeous black bodycon dress.

Samantha wore this black dress to the Elle Sustainability Awards.

Sharing the pics of her dress online, Samantha wrote, `We cannot ignore sustainability anymore.`

She talked about how she`s consciously taking these steps to alter her habits and make more sustainable choices.

Samantha also urged her fans to lead with her example and take small efforts towards sustainability.

For the unversed, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya married back in 2017.

Only a few years later, the couple announced their separation in October 2021 through a formal joint statement.

Although the reason for separation was not revealed, some fans believe that there was infidelity involved.

In a previous statement, the actress said, `This dress has always been special, but now it symbolizes much more.`
