Who is Mohsin Naqvi?
Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi also holds key posts of President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board.

His involvement in cricket administration began in 2024, when he was appointed to the PCB board and shortly after elected its chairman unopposed.
Under his watch, the PCB restructured its National Selection Committee from a centralized model to a seven-member equal vote body.
Naqvi`s controversy in Asia Cup finals
The Indian team refused to accept the Asia Cup trophy (or winners’ medals) from him, citing political tensions as the reason.
The presentation ceremony was delayed for over an hour and eventually cut short, before the trophy handover could take place.
