Thamma movie out

Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna`s horror comedy is out, and moviegoers are sharing mixed reviews. Is the movie worth watching in cinemas?

The story

Maddock ends their horror-comedy universe with Thamma – a vampire love story mixed with spooky laughter. While the story is unique, the film lacks thrill.

Ayushmann Khurrana`s and Nawazuddin Siddiqui`s performances are entertaining, but it is Rashmika Mandanna who steals the show.

Rashmika adds warmth to a dull, slow-paced screenplay. Fans are rather surprised with her contribution to the movie.

Cameos

There are some unpredictable and impressive cameos. Don`t worry, we`re not going to give you any spoilers.

With Paresh Rawal being in his element, Thamma is not your regular Bollywood masala movie. The cast adds depth and life to a bland screenplay.

Thamma review: Watch or Skip?

Overall, Thamma is a watchable spooky delight. However, many found it the weakest story in the Maddock Films` horror-comedy universe after Bhediya.
