Ghats Tree Frog – Canopy Specialist
This tree-dwelling species is endangered due to shrinking forest canopies. It relies on clean, undisturbed rainforest streams to breed.
Wayanad Bush Frog – Voice of the Forest
This frog is more often heard than seen. Found only in parts of Kerala, its population is declining rapidly due to human encroachment.
Beddome’s Leaping Frog – Elusive
Named after a British naturalist, this secretive frog is highly specialized in its habitat, making it extremely vulnerable to change.

Located in the pristine Silent Valley National Park, this frog is critically endangered and rarely seen outside protected zones.
