Cat Breeds That Don’t Shed Fur
Sphynx
The most iconic hairless cat, the Sphynx, is warm to the touch and surprisingly friendly. Its complete lack of fur means virtually zero shedding.
Peterbald
This elegant Russian breed may be bald or velvety-skinned. Even the coated varieties shed far less than average cats, making them very low maintenance.
Donskoy
Wrinkled and affectionate, the Donskoy cat is genetically hairless and doesn’t shed. It comes in four coat types, all low to no shedding.
Cornish Rex
This breed has only a fine undercoat of curly fur. Its ultra-short coat sheds minimally, making it perfect for owners who dislike loose fur.
Devon Rex
Playful and pixie-like, the Devon Rex has soft, curly fur that doesn’t fall out easily. Their light coat needs little grooming.
Bambino
A cross between a Sphynx and a Munchkin, the Bambino is a hairless dwarf cat that rarely sheds and looks as unique as it sounds.
Lykoi
Also called the "Werewolf Cat," the Lykoi has patchy fur and minimal shedding. It’s partially hairless and totally attention-grabbing.
