Ashoka pillar, a 20feettall structure in a single stone right on top are four lions akin to the National Emblem and also bears Mysore&39;s royal emblem that is the two-headed mythological bird " Gandbherunda. This is a landmark of the new Extension of new Jayanagar. At one point in time, this pillar was the southernmost point of Bangalore.. now Bangalore expanded beyond it by engulfing the pillar within.....
