The Ministry of Home Affairs had labeled Brar a terrorist under the UAPA, linking him to Babbar Khalsa International. Brar allegedly orchestrated Moose Wala`s assassination and is associated with incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Conflicting reports emerged on his alleged death in a shootout with rival gangsters Arsh Dalla and Lakhbir, with eyewitnesses describing a chaotic scene. Brar had even mentioned targeting Bollywood star Salman Khan.</p>
