Ten Times Supporting Actors Stole the Thunder in Movies
Diljit Dosanjh delivered a knockout performance as the corrupt cop Sartaj, who experiences a change of heart when his brother falls prey to the drug menace in ‘Udta Punjab’. Dosanjh clearly is likely to sweep all the Best Male Debut awards in the coming year.
No words are enough to describe Priyanka Chopra’s poignant portrayal of a wife who has to come to terms with her husband’s infidelity. PC clearly outshone Deepika Padukone in the film and had the audience empathizing with her more.
Varun Dhawan may have aced his act as the intense and brooding Raghu, but it was Nawaz who had the audience in a fix with his intriguing but vulnerable portrayal of Liak, a convict who was also battling illness. Siddiqui was faultless.
Anushka Sharma was the only saving grace in this lifeless Yash Chopra directorial as the spunky documentary filmmaker.
‘Vicky Donor’ would not have been half as entertaining if it was not for the sperm-obsessed infertility specialist played by the effervescent Annu Kapoor.
