Growing up in the U.S., Sid Sriram absorbed the sounds of R&B, soul, and jazz, alongside his deep Carnatic roots. This duality became the hallmark of his genre-defying sound.

At Berklee College of Music, Sid honed his skills in music production and engineering. His career took off when A.R. Rahman chose him for playback singing, launching him into stardom in the Indian film industry.

While gaining fame in film music, Sid never left behind his classical roots. He continues to perform Carnatic concerts, especially during Chennai's prestigious December Music Season.
