Taapsee Pannu’s upcoming film Rashmi Rocket just released its official trailer and the fans cannot wait to see the complete film, which premieres on Zee 5 from October 15, 2021.
1. The film is set to premiere this Dusshera on Zee 5, from October 15, 2021. Directed by Akarsh Khurana, the film stars Taapsee Pannu, Abhishek Banerjee and Priyanshu Painyuli.
2. In the film Taapsee plays the role of a Gujarati athlete. The trailer opens up with the actor walking in the Rann of Kutch.
3. The film has been inspired from the lives of several female athletes.
4. The story revolves around a young female athlete from a small village who is gifted with speed but her prospects are cut-short when she is asked to undergo a gender test.
5. She decides not sit back and file a law suit against the Indian Athletics Association on the basis of Human Rights Violation. She challenges the laws of the nation and seeks justice and fairness.
6. Abhishek Banerjee will be essaying the role of her lawyer in the film.
6. Priyanshu Painyuli will be seen in the role of an Indian Army officer who falls for Rashmi and accepts her as she is.
