The veteran Kannada actor Bungle Shama Rao Dwarakanath, commonly known as Dwarakish, sadly passed away today, April 16. The multi-talented actor, producer, and director was 81 years old and died of a cardiac arrest. Dwarakish was a household name in Karnataka, mainly thanks to his comedy roles. Singaporenalli Raja Kulla
In this film, Dwarakish plays the role of a CID officer Kulla, who's responsible for catching a woman named Junie who's involved in illegal activities like smuggling diamonds. Prachanda Kulla
This is a Kannada comedy film starring Vishnuvardhar, Dwarakish, R. N. Sudarshan, and Raadhika Sarathkumar. Popular for its scene involving the hero lifting a Shiva linga, the film is presented as a period comedy drama with mythological references.
Kalla Kulla
Another collaboration between Vishnuvarshar and Dwarakish, Kalla Kulla is a comedy drama. The film was also dubbed in Hindi language with the title 'Chor Ka Bhai Chor'.
Apthamitra
