Directed by Ram Madhvani, the film premieres on Netflix from November 19, 2021 onwards.
1. The team of 'Dhamaka', featuring the lead actors and the makers, were snapped at the trailer launch of the film amidst a limited media presence at the Taj Lands End in Mumbai. Directed by Ram Madhvani of 'Neerja' and 'Aarya' fame, the film traces the journey of an ex-radio anchor who gets a second chance to acquire prime-time fame. But a chance phone call from a terrorist will cost everything that is dear to him.
2. Kartik Aaryan plays Arjun Pathak, an opportunist and cynical ex-news anchor who is shown to run a radio show, but a phone call from a terrorist gives him a chance to make a comeback on prime-time news.
3. The film stars Mrunal Thakur as Saumya Mehra Pathak, a news correspondent who also works for the same news channel as Arjun. The film gives us a glimpse of both characters going through a phase of separation.
4. Amruta Subhash plays Ankita, Arjun's calculative and cold boss, who wants to capitalise on a tragedy to up her news channel's prospects.
