Modern Mafia composed the music and provided vocals to the song Bandhay for Bejoy Nambiars David.

Fusion group Midival Punditz along with Karsh Kale recreated the iconic song Dum Maaro Dum by adding their own groovy tunes to the original track for Ramesh Sippys Dum Maaro Dum starring Abhishek Bachchan. The talented musicians also composed the background score for Deepika Padukone and Farhan Akhtar starring Kartik Calling Kartik.

Versatile singer Papon lent his voice to many Bollywood songs including Tu -Bobby Jasoos, Gol -Manjunath, Maula Sun Le Re -Madras Cafe, Kyun -Barfi and Jiyein Kyu -Dum Maaro Dum.

Delhi based rock band Parikrama made their Bollywood debut with the film Majunath. The film soundtrack is composed by Sonam Sherpa, Nitin Malik and Subir Malik.

Metal band Bhayanak Maut have lent a song from their album to Anurag Kashyaps film "Shaitan". Their song "Habemus Papam" was chosen by director Bejoy Nambiar.

Agnee is an Indian rock band based in Pune. They have composed for Prakash Jhas film Dil Dosti Etc. They also created Yaariyan for Homi Adjanias Cocktail. Barbaadi was sung by Mohan Kannan for the movie Aurangzeb starring Arjun Kapoor. Mohan also provided vocals for the song Shikayatein -Lootera, Khanabadosh -London Dreams, Kinare -Queen and Chaandaniya -2 States.
