Green Tea

Delhi based electronica acts Komorebi and Curtain Blue have come together to kickstart 2020 with their eclectic new party-starter EP, ‘Green Tea’.

The EP features the title track by the same name that marks the collaboration of the two most reckoning forces in the current electronica landscape. The EP also includes three remix versions by leading Indian acts namely, Grain, Jitter and Malfnktion.

The track bears the trademark rendition of Curtain Blue’s haunting vocals accompanied smoothly by Komorebi’s Japanese anime-inspired production.

Speaking on their collaboration, Abhishek Bhatia aka Curtain Blue said, ‘The great thing with two like-minded producers coming together is that it eases the decision-making process, while also helps in coming up with tones and parts we couldn't have otherwise predicted. ‘Green Tea’ is a track that we had a lot of fun making’. While Tarana Marwah aka Komorebi adds, All three artists exhibit different styles of music that intrigue Abhishek and I. We sometimes sit together and take the time to really appreciate the good work producers from the scene are doing – to feel inspired, motivated and connected. Collaborating is the cherry on the cake. It just makes everything about releasing new music more fun.’

The EP has been officially released since January 28th, 2020 under Grain’s Gravity Sounds. The official video of the song has been directed by Riddhiman Ghosh.
