This week, the much anticipated 'Baar Baar Dekho' hits the theatres. What has certainly got the audience hooked are the songs and a stunning Katrina Kaif, who seems to have gone down the Benjamin Button route.However, the pertinent question to be asked is, will 'Baar Baar Dekho' help in cementing Katrina's already declining craft as an actress?Why we say so, is because the actress' career has been sailing in uncharted waters for some years. Her last few films, Read: 'Fitoor', 'Phantom', 'Bang Bang' and 'Dhoom 3' have left an unavoidable dent in her filmography. Her roles in each of the mentioned films were thankless, and shamelessly under-written.Also unfortunately, her personal life garnered more focus than her professional credentials. Her relationships with Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor made more news than her roles.Not that Kat was ever known for her acting chops but come on, she definitely has come a long way from being a mere pretty face to being an A-lister. She has delivered a few credible performances in 'Namastey London', 'New York', 'Raajneeti', 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara' and 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan'.The release of 'Baar Baar Dekho' will either put things back on track for Miss. Kaif or will only become a part of her downward trend.Only time will tell.
