All set to represent India's sharp-shooter sibling duo Chandro and Prakashi Tomar, Bollywood's leading ladies Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar took to social media to unveil the first look of their film, 'Saand Ki Aankh'.The film is supposed to celebrate the exemplary courage of two sisters aged 86 and 81, who fought age and a patriarchal society, to emerge as India's most victorious sharpshooters with as many as 700 medals to their credit.To quote Bhumi on record, 'These two women by sheer stroke of luck become sharpshooters. They travel the world, they are given incredible recognition, they make our country proud but no one really knows how they fought their house, the society to make a difference in the lives of their granddaughters and bring positive change for women in their male-dominated community. It is an extremely powerful story. It is a film about the triumph of the human spirit, a film about faith. It's a true story of courage because you have these women who have changed the ecosystem for women and society around them.'Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, 'Saand Ki Aankh' is produced by Anurag Kashyap, Reliance Entertainment and Nidhi Parmar Hira. The film is slated to release, this Diwali.
