Director Shashank Khaitan's Mr.Lele starring Varun Dhawan was announced and if sources are to be believed, it was reported that Kiara Advani was to play the leading heroine opposite the actor.However, reports have surfaced that the 'Kabir Singh' actress has refused the said role which now has been bagged by Janhvi Kapoor, causing speculations that producer Karan Johar is miffed over her decision. But a source close to the actress was quick to clarify, 'Kiara is as much a Dharma girl as Janhvi. But she has to complete Laxmmi Bomb with Akshay Kumar and Indoo Ki Jawani with producer Nikhil Advani. Her dates for these assignments clashed with Dharma's Mr Lele. No hard feelings. She will have many opportunities to do other films with Dharma productions.'Readers may recollect that Kiara's career in Bollywood took flight post Karan Johar's short film in the Netflix-produced 'Lust Stories'. The actress also starred in 'Good Newwz' and the recent Netflix film, 'Guilty', both produced under the Dharma banner.
