In what could be considered a major casting coup, producers Aanand L Rai and Bhushan Kumar come together for 'Atrangi Re', an unusual love story starring National Award winning actors Akshay Kumar and Dhanush alongside Sara Ali Khan.Slated for a release on Valentine's Day 2021, the film will see Akshay essay a career-defining part while Dhanush and Sara will make an unusual romantic pairing on-screen. The music of the film will be rendered by maestro A.R Rahman and Himanshu Sharma has penned the script. 'Atrangi Re' marks the second collaboration between Rai who helms the film as the director with Dhanush after the hit 'Ranjhanaa' in 2013. It's also the second association between Rai and Kumar as producers after 'Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhaan'.Produced by T-Series, Colour Yellow Productions and Akshay's Cape of Good Films, 'Atrangi Re' will go on the floors from March 1st, 2020.
