Yami Gautam buys a holiday home in Himachal Pradesh

Yami Gautam, who is gearing up for her Republic Day release ‘Kaabil’ is all set to buy her second holiday home in Himachal Pradesh.
Over a 100 years old and built around 25 acres of plot, the actress ii eagerly waiting to take her maternal grandmother to her new place in February.
Even though Yami grew up in Chandigarh, her summer vacations were spent at her Nani’s home in Shimla.
Confirming the same, Yami said, “There’s a `we’ feeling there that’s unique to the place.” She exulted, “It’s a typical, traditional Himachali house with the rooms built around an open court yard and one or two of them with secret staircases leading to the basement.” She further added, “My father is supervising the renovations, working closely with architects to ensure that we don’t disturb the original structure while fitting it with modern amenities. The puja room will remain the way it is, and so will the sloping tin roof. I’d love to hear the rain patter against it during monsoons.”
