Suniel Shetty`s Favorite Cricketer is Not KL Rahul!
Suniel Shetty is an avid fan of cricket. He has always been spotted playing live cricket in the stadium along with his friends and family. He is also a regular at the Premier League matches, where he supports Mumbai.
His daughter, Athiya Shetty, is married to ace cricketer KL Rahul, who bats the middle order in the Indian cricket team. Rahul and Athiya tied the knot in January this year in the presence of close family and friends.
Since then, the two have been spotted with the veteran actor on multiple occasions.
At an event, Suniel Shetty revealed his favorite cricketer. He said that his favorite cricketer is Virat Kohli. He called him the master chaser who can bring the team out of difficult circumstances and bat commendably well under pressure.
"When he is batting, you don`t feel any `dhak dhak` happening inside you." He added this while speaking about Kohli. At the same time, he mentioned that KL Rahul is his son, and hence, he won`t talk about his family while choosing favorites.

The Phir Hera Pheri actor`s adorable picture with KL Rahul went viral. In the photo, both of them are twinning with black and looking absolutely stunning together.

Suneil Shetty was last seen in the Telugu film Ghani, which was released in 2022. Apart from that, in 2023, he was part of a webseries for Amazon Mini TV titled Hunter Tootega Nahi Toodega.
He is all set to star in Welcome to the Jungle, which releases on December 20. Along with him, the film also stars Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Disha Patani, Lara Dutta, and Raveena Tandon.
It is directed by Ahmed Khan and is also called Welcome 3.
