Bobby Deol Special: Throwback To When The Gupt Actor`s DJing Had The Guests Demanding A Refund

It is Bobby Deol`s world and we are living in it. In the world of the popular star kid actor, he is often referred to as `Lord Bobby Deol.` There are legit meme pages on Twitter that love to turn epic scenes from Bobby Deol`s movies into rib-tickling memes. Well, `well come to that later. But on the Gupt actor`s 53rd birthday, we`re back to take on down memory lane. Remember when Bobby turned a DJ for a nightclub in Delhi and left the guests upset?
This not only stirred yet another Bollywood controversy but also made Bobby Deol a target for several memes and news. Dating back to 2016, Bobby took on a DJing sting, and little did he know it would turn into his biggest nightmare.
For the unversed, Bobby Deol was a Guest DJ at a club in Delhi for a night. As a guest, he only played songs from his 1997 superhit Bollywood movie Gupt. To his surprise, Bobby`s DJing stint was not received well at all by the guests. They were upset, so much so, that everyone demanded a refund for ruining their night.

Post this incident, the actor opened up about the same with a leading media house. In his defense, he said, “I practically got conned. Some dude approached me to show up at a club and advertised it as if I was going to be the DJ for the night. He told me about this but assured me that I don’t really have to play. Now, I don’t know jack shit about DJing. It’s an intricate job, not everyone can just get behind a console and get on it. So I showed up thinking I’ll hang around and leave but I know it backfired. People made a lot of fun. Now, a friend of mine sings, ‘DJ wale Bobby mera gaana baja do,’ to me all the time.”
While this was one of Deol`s fiascos, we love him for his charming smile and spectacular acting. Speaking of acting, Bobby Deol was last seen in Aashram 2 where he delivered an applaud-worthy performance. He will be seen next in Ranbir Kapoor`s Animal.
