One of the most anticipated movies, War 2, has already built the excitement in cinephiles even before its release. Thanks to Jr NTR being the new entrant in the cast of the sequel, the plot got more intense than ever. On the actor`s birthday, the makers dropped the teaser of War 2, and the face-off between Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR is already garnering buzz.
The teaser for Yash Raj Films` upcoming spy thriller was unveiled on Tuesday morning on the lead star, Jr NTR`s, 42nd birthday. The film, which is part of YRF`s Spu Universe, is a sequel to the infamous 2019 release, War.
The bit in the teaser where Hrithik and NTR enter into an epic face-off has the fans excited. But who will win this battle?

The teaser showcases the two superstars engaged in a fierce competition to outsmart and defeat each other, as the stakes escalate and the action intensifies. Hrithik teased the teaser announcement on Friday itself.
Taking it to Instagram, the Fighter actor wrote, "Hey @tarak9999, think you know what to expect on the 20th of May this year? Trust me, you have NO idea what`s in store. Ready?" NTR responded to the same in his signature style and wrote, “Thank you in advance, @iHrithik sir!!! Can’t wait to hunt you down to give you a special return gift, Kabir.”

As soon as the teaser dropped, fans filled the comments section expressing their excitement. One user wrote, “It`s A Blockbuster All Over.” Another added, “Hrithik bringing the Kabir swag. Can`t wait!”
Many predicted that this will be the highest-grossing YRF Spy Universe, as it brings together the power of two megastars. One comment read, “This is a pan-India blockbuster,” while another wrote, “This will be bigger than RRR Pathaan.” Both films grossed over 1000 crore globally.

The upcoming spy thriller is a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster, War. It originally featured Hrithik Roshan, Vaani Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff in leading roles. It collected over 400 crores worldwide.
The second instalment of the YRF spy franchise will see Jr NTR as a new addition to the cast with Hrithik reviving his role as Major Kabir Dhaliwal. It also features Kiara Advani in a pivotal role.
Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 will release on August 14, the Independence Day weekend, in cinemas near you.
