‘Ramayana’ starring Ranbir Kapoor to have two trailers.
Good news for all the Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi fans! Ever since the makers released Ranbir’s first look, the eagerness has reached to a level beyond match. So, to create some more buzz around it, here’s some new development around the trailer launch of ‘Ramayana’.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, ‘Ramayana’ is set to meet everyone by the end of November, 2026. However, to keep the fans hooked to the seats already, the makers have pulled up their socks and are about to release the trailer of ‘Ramayana’ on July 24, 2026. No, not just one, but as per the sources, the movie will have two trailers in the making. If this isn’t good news, we don’t know what is. As per the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), the film`s trailer was granted a `U` (Universal) certificate, on July 15, 2026, making it suitable for audiences of all age groups ranging from children to adults. While one trailer, titled `Trailer – Ramayana 3D`, has a runtime of 4 minutes and 15 seconds, the other, titled `Theatrical Trailer – Ramayana 3D`, runs for exactly 4 minutes.

This release follows an exclusive first-look presentation at the San Diego Comic-Con on July 23, 2026, marking yet another milestone before the release.
Star cast of ‘Ramayana’
With Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Rama, we will see Sai Pallavi as Sita. The role of Ravana will be played by South superstar Yash, whereas television star Ravie Dubey will be seen as Rama’s younger brother Laxman. Finally, Sunny Deol is taking on the monumental role of Lord Hanuman.

Few months back, to create the hype around ‘Ramayana’, the makers released the actor’s first look. Introducing Ranbir, the teaser says, “Whenever the world descends into chaos, he is always the answer. Ruling our hearts for over 5,000 years - our protector, our hero, the legend. We celebrate the greatest of all time - Maryada Purushottam Rama”.
Collaboration of AR Rahman with Hans Zimmer
The film also marks the first collaboration between Oscar-winning music legends Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman. Talking about the collaboration, producer Namit Malhotra stated, “This is a cultural movement for every Indian around the world. With Ramayana, we’re not just retelling history, we’re introducing our legacy to the world. Bringing together the finest global talent allows us to tell this story with authenticity, emotion, and state-of-the-art cinematic innovation. We’ve seen Ramayana portrayed before, but this version reimagines its landscapes, creatures, and battles with the scale and splendour they deserve. As Indians, this is our truth. Now, it will be our gift to the world.”
