After being surrounded by controversies and posting Deepika Padukone`s exit, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has finally put together a stellar ensemble for his film Spirit. With Prabhas and Triptii Dimri taking the lead, Vivek Oberoi is the new addition to the cast of Spirit.
On Prabhas` birthday, the filmmaker took to X (formerly Twitter) and dropped an audio teaser of the film. The teaser was in five languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Posting the video on social media, Vanga wrote, “Happy Birthday, Prabhas Anna. Presenting a ‘SOUND-STORY’ in five Indian languages straight from the heart, for every fan who’s felt his.”

The around one-minute audio teaser has already intrigued the audience. It was a conversation between a jailor and his assistant discussing an ex-cop who is under their remand. The jailer can be heard giving instructions to his assistant to treat the cop just like any other inmate.
Moreover, the audio teaser also confirmed the cast of Spirit – Prabhas, Triptii Dimri, Vivek Oberoi, and Prakash Raj. Explore who`s playing what in the action thriller.
Prabhas: The Telugu star will be playing a fierce cop in Sandeep Reddy Vanga`s upcoming film. He portrays an IPS officer who is currently behind bars. The teaser ends with Prabhas` power-packed dialogue, "Right from childhood, I have had one bad habit."
Triptii Dimri: Though much is not revealed about her character, sources suggest the actress will be playing the role of a doctor who is romantically involved with Prabhas.
Vivek Oberoi: The Bollywood star will reportedly play the lead antagonist in the film. He took to social media and wrote, "#OneBadHabit is all it takes to get you in #inspiritmode. And what a powerful `SOUND-STORY` that was! Happy Birthday to the Rebel Star, #Prabhas! Hoping the surprise lifted your spirits! Super kicked about bringing this action to life with your unmatched magic, @imvangasandeep."
Prakash Raj: Reportedly, the veteran actor will be playing a ruthless jailor – the one who is conspiring against Prabhas, despite his history of being a police officer.
Spirit will see a theatrical release in 2026.
