All the millennials are crying in the corner as their cricket heroes are slowly retiring from the game. What started with Rohit Sharma putting his bat down in red ball cricket, Virat Kohli followed the same trend and announced his retirement from Test cricket.
He took to Instagram on Monday and announced the shocking news. This comes after the Board of Cricket Council of India (BCCI) suggested to him to retire, hinting he is no longer required in the Indian cricket team in this particular format.
After announcing his retirement on social media, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma made their first public appearance as the couple were spotted at Mumbai airport.

The couple were spotted at the airport on Monday afternoon. The cricketer looked dapper in baggy white jeans paired with a beige shirt. Anushka, on the other hand, kept it simple with a pink striped shirt and baggy denim.

The duo, who have now been living in London with their kids, Vamika and Akaay, were in Mumbai for the ongoing T20 tournament, which was recently suspended amid the India-Pakistan tensions.
Kohli, who is a crucial part of Bengaluru team, was spotted with his ladylove in the city as the two stepped out for a dinner date.
Virat Kohli`s Test retirement announcement
The former Indian skipper announced his retirement from Test cricket on Monday. This follows the news of Rohit Sharma`s retirement from the same format.
The 36-year-old took to Instagram and penned a heartfelt note. Sharing a picture of himself wearing the Indian Test jersey, his caption read, "It`s been 14 years since I first wore the baggy blue in Test cricket."
