In a recent interview with film critic Anupama Chopra, the actor spoke about Katrina and her Bollywood trajectory. He believes she has created an era, just like veteran stars Rekha and Hema Malini.

Vicky Kaushal shares his two cents on Katrina Kaif's career
In a segment, Anupama asked him about
Katrina Kaif and how her two-decade-long experience in Bollywood has contributed to their relationship. Vicky called his wife a perfect blend of practicality and emotion.
He said,
'She is very practical when it comes to work, but otherwise she is a very emotional person." Vicky further added, 'She will say the facts as they are, especially when it comes to my performance or my trailer. When I show her my dance rehearsal, then I am dead. I know this is coming from all that experience, and it helps me so much."

"When it comes to making decisions, when I am wondering ye karu ya wo karu (what should I do), she will really state things that I know are coming from so much experience of highs and lows, of right decisions and mistakes. When she has an opinion, I know I have to consider it seriously because it is very objective. That wisdom and practicality is something very commendable.'Talking about her career, Vicky said,
'Knowing her, not everything was going as per her, but she has really hustled and worked hard and aced it. I don't want to cross a line on her behalf, but I truly feel that, like there was Hema Malini's era, there was Rekha's era, and I truly feel she has achieved that sort of milestone on her merit.'
Known for her witty and wise questions, Anupama then asked Vicky Kaushal a secret to
being a good husband. He quickly said,
'Choose your moments to be quiet.'However, jokes aside, the actor added,

Vicky and Katrina tied the knot in December 2021 in an intimate ceremony in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The two were dating for quite some time before they got married. It all started on Koffee With Karan, and the rest is history.
