One of the most awaited movies, Sky Force is all set to release on the Republic Day weekend. Fans are excited to see Akshay Kumar back in action, but what`s even more exciting is that the movie marks Veer Pahariya`s glorious Bollywood debut.
For the uninitiated, Veer Pahariya is the grandson of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde. His name became famous even before his debut, thanks to Sara Ali Khan`s Koffee With Karan confession. She got candid on the chat show and revealed that Sara and Janhvi dated the Pahariya brothers for a while.
Coming back to Sky Force, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, and Veer Pahariya in prominent roles. Now, the debutant opened up on working with his ex-girlfriend.
During the trailer launch, Pahariya was asked about how it was working with Sara, given they shared a special `friendship` in the past. To which producer Dinesh Vijan was quick to answer, “You mean friendship or Stree`s friendship?" referring to an anecdote from his horror comedy.

Veer humbly replied, “She (Sara) was very sweet. She was very helpful. She has a lot of experience in the industry already. So she did help me a lot, and I`m very grateful. Thank you, Sara.”
During an episode of Koffee With Karan 7, Sara teased that she was dating Veer during the same time Janhvi dated Shikhar. The two divas dated the Pahariya brothers for quite some time.
While Sara Ali Khan and Veer Pahariya called it quits, Janhvi Kapoor is back with Shikhar Pahariya, and the two have been the talk of the town.
The trailer, released on Sunday, shows both Akshay and Veer donning the uniform as they play air force officers. Along with the already mentioned cast, the film also stars Nimrat Kaur in a key role.
Sky Force is all set to release on January 24 in cinemas near you.
