The television actor went missing on April 22 from Delhi airport. He was flying to Mumbai but hadn`t reached the city. The news of his disappearance went viral after his father, Hargit Singh, filed a missing person`s complaint with the Delhi police.
While the police tried their best to search for him, there was a time when they felt Gurucharan Singh had planned his own disappearance. After being found, the reason for his leaving regular life will shock you.

The television actor who played the role of original Sodhi in the sitcom, who had been missing since April 22, finally returned home on Friday. He is safe and sound. During the interrogation, Singh told the officials that he let the `worldly life embark on a spiritual journey.` During his time away from home, Gurucharan visited several Gurudwaras in cities like Amritsar, Ludhiana, and more.

However, he later realized he should return home as his family would be worried, the police said. Singh was missing for about 28 days.
On Saturday morning, news agency ANI took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and shared a picture of Gurucharan Singh posing with a police officer for a picture. While the actor smiled for the camera, he looked tired and exhausted.

During their investigation, they happened to ask his father, Hargi Singh, about his last conversation with his son. Recalling the same, the television actor`s stressed financial situation.

Hargit Singh said, "I had no idea about my son`s financial situation. He never told me anything about it. So I am not aware of all this. I am sure if the police have found something, they will inform me. Meri umar aisi hai ki meri tabiyat theek nahi rehti hai (My age is such that I`m not in good health). It`s been many days now, and there has been no positive response in this case. We are just waiting for him to come back."
The actor is safe and sound and has returned to his residence.
