The producers of the show are pulling the plug as Kapil is going to have a tight schedule. The 'Kis KisKo Pyaar Karu' starrer is booked due to his month-long USA tour, therefore he is obligated to take time off from the show. Last year Kapil Sharma had taken time off from his popular show The Kapil Sharma Show which airs on Sony. He had taken a paternity break.

During a QampA session on Twitter, when a fan asked the comedian why the show is going off air, Kapil replied, 'Because I need to be there at home with my wife to welcome our second baby.'

Kapil recently also starred in a Netflix Original, a stand up show, 'I Am Not Done Yet'. The show aired on January 28th.

The Kapil Sharma Show has always been in the limelight whether be Archana Puran Singh replacing Navjot Singh Sidhu or him having a fallout with Akshay Kumar.
