The Archies is all set to release today on Netflix. As it made its premiere on Netflix, the makers organized a special screening of the film that was attended by major stars from the industry. Now, the first reviews from those who watched it during the premiere are out.

Katrina Kaif Lauds Zoya for her 'Original, Unique Voice'

Katrina Kaif attended the premiere and was all praise for the entire cast and crew. She took to Instagram to write a long review, where she said, "#thearchies takes you back to an era of innocence and charm that we seem to have forgotten, so beautifully crafted and attention given to each and every frame. Musicals are the hardest genre to crack, and this just got it so right: brilliantly choreographed songs and imaginatively shot."

Praising Zoya, she added, "My @zoieakhtar, there just is none like you, your eye, your talent, what you bring to whatever genre you choose, such an original, unique voice, you get actors like no one else can, you see the most special thing about that actor, and you bring that on screen. You're just an exceptionally skilled, talented, and gifted soul. Born for the movies, what a body of work you are creating."

Talking about the performances by all the debutants, Katrina said, "And the kids are stunning, endearing, and the perfect cast... They make you laugh and smile. #augustya just belongs on the big screen, has such a lovely screen presence, and is so effortless, @suhanakhan2. This seems like your 10th film you shine in every frame, and what dancing."

Ending her long piece, she added, "@khushi05k is just so lovely and endearing and gets you to feel for her, @mihirahuja_. I loved your comic timing. You were too good, @dotandthesyllables. Flawless in her quirky role @yuvrajmenda Adorable in every scene, @vedanqraina reminds you of the old Hollywood musical stars."

Katrina Kaif has clearly enjoyed watching the film. She has previously worked with Zoya Akhtar on Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

Ananya Panday praises all the hard work of Suhana Khan.

Ananya Panday and Suhana Khan are childhood friends and have always been supportive of each other. She was present for the premiere of The Archies and posted a short note for Suhana Khan. She wrote, "My baby sister is the brightest spark to ever be. I love Ronnie and I love you, and I can't wait for the world to see all your hard work that's manifested in this magic."
