Thalapathy Vijay last visited Kerala for the film 'Kaavalan', which was released in 2011. Fans were seen eagerly awaiting his arrival, and the local police ensured that the safety of the public was maintained in the scrum.

Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar, also known as Thalapathy Vijay, is currently filming his upcoming movie 'Greatest of All Time (GOAT)' in Kerala. This shoot is reportedly the climax of the film and will conclude in a few weeks. The movie is set to release later this year, and an announcement regarding the same is imminent. Upon Thalapathy Vijay's arrival, the hashtags #VijayStormHitsKerala and #TheGreatestOfAllTime trended on the internet throughout the day.
The fans are eagerly anticipating this Venkat Prabhu directorial, as it could mark the Tamil sensation's final movie before he transitions into a political career. In February 2024, the actor announced his retirement from the film industry and entry into politics after

GOAT, or Greatest of All Time, is reportedly going to be a time travel-themed film inspired by the Hollywood movie 'Looper' starring Bruce Willis and Emily Blunt. 'Greatest of All Time' was shot in various locations, including Chennai, Thailand, Hyderabad, and Pondicherry. The final shoot is now taking place in Kerala, which is a deviation from the previous plan to shoot the film's final cut in Sri Lanka.

Although the original film is in Tamil, it will have a multi-language release for fans.
