Sridevi's one of the best Bollywood films English Vinglish will be released in China on February 24 on the late actor's fifth death anniversary. On February 24, 2018, the most loved superstar of Indian Cinema left her family, millions of fans, and the entire film industry in deep shock.

The Hindi film directed by Gauri Shinde was released in theatres in India on October 5, 2012. It had its world premiere at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival, and you will be surprised to know it received a five-minute standing ovation. The movie will now be shown in 6,000 theatres on the Chinese mainland.

The Gauri Shinde directorial marked the legendary actress's comeback to the big screen after 15 years and is finally getting released on over 6000 screens across China on her 5th death anniversary. It is going to be an unforgettable experience for Sridevi fans and all cinema lovers.

The movie featured Sridevi as a naive housewife who decides to take up English lessons in the US after being mocked by her husband and daughter. She gains confidence in herself after making friends in her new class and achieves her goal with determination and hard work.
