World Cup semi-finals. However, his visit was not limited to the Wankhede Stadium. David Beckham was later hosted by the who's who of Bollywood.
One of the hosts being Sonam Kapoor, she ensured Beckham had a larger-than-life welcome to her Mumbai home. It was all extravagance at the actress's home, as she had an intimate party with close friends and family to host the footballer.

The Neerja actress went all out to welcome the legendary footballer into her Mumbai home. Sonam's house was decorated with heaps of opulent flowers, exquisite paintings adorning the colorful paneled walls, and intricate decor that screamed luxury from every corner.
The entire evening was planned by none other than her mother, Sunita Kapoor, and aunt, Kaveeta Singh. She took to Instagram and shared a glimpse of what an evening with
David Beckham looked like.
Sharing mesmerizing pictures of her well-decked-up home,
Sonam Kapoor wrote, 'It was such a pleasure showing you a small taste of India, @davidbeckham, @davidgardner. I hope you loved India as much as India loves you."
She then went on to thank the event planner, photographer, music, art, and style planner for putting it all together. She added, 'Special thanks to my forever constants, Mama and Masi, @kapoor.sunita, @kaveeta.singh.'

Sharing more pictures from the party, the entrepreneur thanked his wife for pulling off a fabulous event filled with love, luxury, and laughter.

He further went on to appreciate David Beckham for how kind and genuine of a guest he was.
