Singer Kalpana Raghavendar Is Stable, Doctors Issue Statement

Singer Kalpana Health Update
Telugu singer Kalpana Raghavandar, who tried committing suicide by consuming sleeping pills, is stable now. Doctors shared a health update and stated she was out of danger. For the uninitiated, Kalpana was found unconscious in her Telangana residence on March 4, Tuesday.
She was immediately rushed to the hospital after being discovered in an alarming state. Her condition has since stabilized, and she is now in a better state. Initially, she was struggling for her life and was kept on ventilator support.
“Kalpana was rushed to the emergency ward of our hospital yesterday. Due to the unstable condition she was in, our doctors put her on a ventilator for a day. We removed the ventilator this morning, stabilizing her condition and placing her on oxygen support,” the doctors at Sri Sri Holistic Hospital said.
They added, “Depending on her recovery progress, we may discharge her from the hospital in two or three days.”

According to the KPHB police, they received an emergency call from the apartment committee around 5:00 p.m. Upon their arrival, the officers found the doors locked but saw Kalpana lying unconscious on her bed through the window.
The police and medical reporters rushed her to the nearby hospital via an ambulance. Her husband arrived shortly after 6:00 p.m.
In a statement, the KPHB police said, "We received a call from the apartment committee at 5 pm. Upon arrival, we found the door locked, but through the kitchen window, spotted Kalpana lying unconscious on her bed."
"We quickly transported Kalpana to the Holistic Hospital in an ambulance, where she is currently undergoing treatment. Her husband also reached by 6 pm. Her condition is better now. No case has been registered," they added.
Further details regarding the incident are yet to be disclosed. The singer reportedly consumed sleeping pills in an attempt to end her life. The police are still investigating the matter.
Kalpana is a renowned Telugu singer and has won several accolades for her contribution to the Indian music industry. Some of her popular songs include Navamoorthulainatti from Intinta Annamayya and Pogiren from 36 Vayadhinile.
